Prior to the 1960s minimal work was done (trenching and drilling of a quartz vein; McIntyre Porcupine Mines Ltd. 1956). 1960-1962; Tomrose Prospecting Syndicate - trenching (20 pits and trenches), sampling, 113.7m (373 ft) packsack driling. 1963-1964: Tomrose Mines Ltd. - prospecting, 13 drill holes (1233.83m [4408 ft]) 1956: Falconbridge Nickel Mines - optioned property, ground MAG and EM surveys, 6 drill holes (331m [1086ft]) 1965-1966: Tomrose Mines Ltd. - 3 drill holes (248.72m [816 ft]) 1966: Azen Mines Ltd. - staked claims, ground MAG survey. 1983-1986: A. Leblanc - 3 drill holes (403.56m [344 ft]). 1990: A. Leblanc - 3 drill holes (403.56m [ 1324 ft]). 1994: A. Leblanc - outcrop stripping 1994-1996: WMC International Ltd. - staked and optioned 1541 claim units, airborne MAG & EM (DIGHEM) surveys, soil and till geochemistry surveys, mapping and sampling. 1998-1999: R. Bailey, L. Luhta, R. Orchard - discover PGM prospects at north contact of River Valley Intrusion 1999: Mustang Minerals Corp. - prospecting, grid mapping, sampling. 2000-2002: Mustang Minerals Corp. - mapping, sampling and drilling. 2013-2014: F. Racicot & A. Leblanc - geophysical surveys, mapping, sampling MINERALIZATION: Pyrrhotite and Chalcopyrite in gabbro near contact with metasediments, ASSAYS: Tomrose MInes reported Cu ranging from <1% to >10% and nickel >0.5%. Sep 21, 2023 (C Lee) - Disseminated pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite occurs in fractured gabbro associated with metasediments. Concentrations from <1% to >10% copper, <0.5% nickel and trace gold. (C.
