Location Method: AMIS Site Visit

Access Description: 21.2km fromHwy 17N on Kukagami Lake road to junction. Continue east an additional 5.4km past public boat launch on Kukagami Lake to road heading north. Continue on this road north past picnic area and helicopter pad for 2.6km to trail heading west. Continue on foot to end of skidder trail then on compass bearing of 280 deg. Traverse to site 1.2km.

Lithology Comments

Mar 23, 2010 (A Wilson) - There are two principle veins that are east-trending and dip slightly to the south. The vein is often surrounded by an albite halo. The shaft has been sunk near the contact between Nipissing diabase and unlaminated wacke of the Gowganda Formation

Mineralization Comments

Mar 23, 2010 (A Wilson) - The mineralization reportedly consists of free gold in quartz veins. The gold values associated with the veins are erratic. The best assay from the albitized wacke, from a sample collected by Flag Resources returned 650 ppb, Au, 1350 ppm Ni, 20 ppb Pt, 20 ppb Pd, 2750 ppm Co and 69 ppm Cu.
