Lithology Comments

Mar 24, 2010 (A Wilson) - The breccia mapped on the west shore of Boot Lake consists of highly angular fragments of arkose and argillite both of which are highly silicified and carbonatized within a matrix of quartz, chlorite, ankerite and pyrite. The breccia has a highly irregular outline and includes several small outlying pods within unaltered Gowganda Fm.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 24, 2010 (A Wilson) - The best assays returned from the 1985 diamond drilling completed by Flag Resources returned 0.03 oz/t gold. Mineralization consists of pyrite and minor arsenopyrite on the west side of the lake. Mineralization observed at the south end of the lake is comprised of pyrite, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite. A grab sample collected by Flag Resources in 1985 returned 0.022 oz/t Au; another grab sample returned 5.8% Cu; anomalous values of Pt and Pd also were returned from grab samples.
