Access Description: The Executive Explorations occurrence is located near center of the Neelon Township map sheet in lot 5, concession 4. The deposit is located 850 metres north of the concession 4 boundary and 400 metres west of the eastern boundary of the concession boundary. (Google Earth, 2007)
1996: Mineralization: Three drill holes by Executive Exploration all cut sulphides, mainly pyrrhotite. Could be the same showing reported in R009, p.22 which mentions Lot 4, Conc 4. Copper-nickel sulphide mineralization occurs in Nipissing gabbro. Drillhole about 50 metres north north-west of the pit gave core assaying as much as 0.11% Cu. (GDIF065)

Jul 07, 2009 (D Scholtz) - No metal deposits of any importance have been found to date within the Neelon township. Small occurrences of sulphides, sometimes nickel-bearing, occur in the gabbro. Little development work have been done on thes, presumably because of their small size. Two copper and nickel deposits in Nipissing diabase near the northern boundary of the map-area in Neelon Township are described as a gossan zone, 75 metres by 18 metres in surface extent, occurs in gabbro near the north boundary of lot 12, concession III, Neelon Township. The best sulphide showing is in a test pit. A grab sample, taken from the pit by J.A. Grant, assayed 2.417% nickel and 0.307% copper. (R116, p. 126) (R009, p. 22) (MDC012, p. 280) Copper-nickel sulphide mineralization occurs in Nipissing gabbro. Drillhole about 50 metres north north-west of the pit gave core assaying as much as 0.11% Cu. (GDIF065)
