Exploration History

1983: R. Green carried out 2 diamond drill holes totaling 163 feet. 1984: R. Green completed 1 diamond drill hole totaling 123 feet. 1986: R. Green completed 2 diamond drill holes totaling 141 feet. 1988: Falconbridge Ltd. carried out airborne geophysics including electromagnetic, magnetometer, and VLFEM (2032 square km). 2000: Champion Bear Resources Ltd. completed 3 diamond drill holes totaling 603m and ground geophysics including magnetometer and VLFEM (29.4 line km)

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - The property is mainly underlain by Early Precambrian Granites that have been intruded by younger mafic dykes consisting of diabase and gabbro.

Mineralization Comments

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - Small pockets and blebs of chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and pyrite within mafic intrusion and earlier granite. Best sample assayed 2% Cu; 25-foot chip sample assayed 0.20% Cu. Drilling done by Champion Bear Resources in 2000 found 0.498% Cu over 1.1m, and 2.19% Zn (core assay).
