Mineralization Comments

Dec 04, 2009 (A Wilson) - The mineralization has been traced for about 400 feet. The massive sulphides are confined to about a foot in width but chalcopyrite extends across 2 feet. The sulphides occur in quartz stringers and replace the sheared country rock. Other pits contain disseminated mineralization. A grab sample collected in 1949 by J. Thomson (OGS) returned 8.53% Pb, 11.74% Zn, 0.53% Cu, 2.91 oz/t silver and 0.01 oz/t gold. A 20-25 pound composite sample collected by Bharti Laamanen Mining Inc from the rock dump of the Holmstron trench yielded values of 2.71% Zn, 2.32% Pb, 0.12% Cu and 89.8 g/t Ag. Other grab samples returned values ranging form 4.71-5.62% Zn, 2.10 - 11.10% Pb, 0.11 - 1.02% Cu, 11.4 - 41.0 g/t Ag and low values of gold. Cadmium values ranged from 0.04-0.05%.
