1906-14: Moose Mountain Limited - pitting, drilling, development, mining. Mining ceased in 1911 due to quality of ore but restarted in 1912 when new concentrator developed. Production in 1913 also came from No. 5 and 6 ore bodies. 1916-20: prospecting, diamond drilling, mine development, mining. Mine closed in 1920.

Apr 08, 2010 (A Wilson) - Specimens collected from the site in 1903 by the Ontario Bureau of Mines returned 58.30% FeO2, 28.08 Fe2O3, 7.92% SiO2, (62.64% total iron).
