Apr 06, 2010 (A Wilson) - A sill-like body of coarse-grained amphibolite and a body of quartz diorite intrude the sedimentary rocks. The younger quartz diorite of the Parkin offset varies from 100-300 ft in width and has been traced by outcrops and drilling for a distance of about 5000 feet. Two sulphide bodies were identified by Milnet Mines. The No. 1 orebody occurred in a brecciated zone in both the quartz diorite and the adjoining sedimentary rocks. It extended from surface to a depth of 350 feet.

Apr 06, 2010 (A Wilson) - The mineralization consists of massive to disseminated pyrrhotite, pentlandite, pyrite and chalcopyrite. About 30% of the ore mined from the No.1 zone was massive sulphides. The reported average grade of the ore was 1.49% Ni, 1.54% Cu 0.027 oz/t Au, 0.066oz/t Pt, 0.087 oz/t Pd, 0.0023 oz/t iridium, rhodium and ruthenium. Grab samples collected by BP Resources along the offset dyke in the 1980s, returned assays up to 0.71% Ni, 16.08%Cu, 36.69 g/t Pd, 1.225 g/t Pt and 7.784 g/t Au
