Access Description: From the Wanapitei Indian Reserve #11 band office, travel northwest 0.5km to road to east that crosses Post Creek. Proceed on this road 700m across creek to first road to north. Proceed 2km to end of trail at beaver pond and swamp. Traverse about 200m along beaver dam to restart of trail. Continue approx 800m easterly on trail to clearing to north along high outcrop to the site.

Mar 26, 2010 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as a NE trending quartz vein that has been traced for 2000 feet in wacke of the Gowganda Formation. The vein is described as being 4 feet in width.

Mar 26, 2010 (A Wilson) - The arsenopyrite reportedly assayed $860 per ton and the quartz vein $40 per ton (1890 values). Visible gold is found in the vein.
