Access Description: North of Capreol on RR#84 to Goulard Road. Travel 18.9km on Goulard Road to Wanapitei North River Bridge, then southeasterly along river 8.7km to where road leaves the river and heads northeasterly, travel 3.4km to entrance with gate to site.

Lithology Comments

Mar 23, 2010 (A Wilson) - The copper showing lies in a zone or band of brecciated, thinly bedded sediments of the Gowganda Formation. The brecciated zone was estimated to be at least 350 ft. by 50 ft. The breccia consists of very angular pieces of sediment embedded in a matrix of quartz, carbonate and chalcopyrite.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 23, 2010 (A Wilson) - In the late 1970's Telteck Explorations produced about 10 tpd of decorative building stone from a quarry. Some parts of the breccia contain spectacular splashes of bornite and chalcopyrite.
