Apr 07, 2010 (A Wilson) - The showing is described as a shear zone containing quartz stringers. This zone strikes N15°E and dips 45°E. A 1 foot wide quartz vein strikes parallel to the shearing. The veining may be related to the contact between argillites of the Gowganda Fm and quartzites of the Serpent Fm or the margins of a small plug of Nipissing diabase.
