1955: Noranda Mines Ltd. - held a group of 38 unpatented mining claims in the west central part of Scholes Township. Claims extended along the western shore of Eaglerock Lake and from the northern part of the lake westerly to the township boundary. 1956: Noranda Mines Ltd. - magnetic and electromagnetic survey.

Nov 29, 2017 (A Wilson) - The main showing was in siliceous iron formation in early Precambrian greenstone located 600 m west of central Eaglerock Lake. The main zone was reported to be 90 m long and from 0.6 to 9 m wide with pyrite, pyrrhotite, low chalcopyrite, and minor sphalerite. The best channel sample yielded 0.51% over 1 m and 0.20% Cu over 9 m.
