Lithology Comments

Mar 15, 2010 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is located in medium grained Nipissing diabase and occurs as gossanous zones containing disseminated sulphides. The mineralized zone appears to be controlled by north to north-northeast trending vertical fractures or fracture systems. Sulphide content decreases away from the fractures and zones appear to be a maximum of 5 to 10 feet thick.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 15, 2010 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Teck in 1992 returned Cu values up to 11572 ppm, Ni values up to 1641 ppm. The sulphides are disseminated but some sulphide blebs up to 1 cm in size also have been observed. The best assays from the 1950's drilling returned 0.28 - 0.85% Cu and 0.04 - 0.020% Ni over 17.2 ft.
