Location Method: AMIS Site Visit

Access Description: North from River Valley 35km to bridge and intersection to Wawiashkashi Lake at south end of Manitou Lake. Wawiashkashi Lake road north 4km to logging road. 1.7km to boat launch located on rough bush road 50m before camp at end of road on west shore of Cucumber Lake. Navigate east from launch to site.

Oct 30, 2012 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as a quartz vein within porphyritic andesite. The vein is 0.3 to 0.6 m wide, strikes W50°E and dips about 50° NW.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 30, 2012 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Little Long Lac Mines returned assays ranging from 0.01 oz/t Au to 1.76 oz/t Au. A 3 foot section of core from DDH 5 assayed 0.15 oz/t Au; a 0.9 ft section of core from DDH 2 assayed 0.21 oz/t Au. Grab samples collected by S. Anderson in 1998 returned values ranging from 0.05 to 23.45 oz/t Au. A grab sample of silicified andesite collected in 1999 assayed 4430 ppm Au and 673 ppm Cu.
