Dec 07, 2005 (G Bennett) - Over the greater part of the property, surface exposures are of sparse conglomerate and minor feldspathic quartzite of the Gowganda Formation cut by northwesterly-trending and west-trending diabase dikes. Between Stanleigh and Milliken mines the Nordic quartz diabase sill-like intrusion lies near the south boundary of the property. The behavious of this property at depth is not known precisely but it is believed that the attitude steepens and the body may become dike-like. In the eastern part of the property (northeast of Sheriff Lake) the members of the Bruce Group between the Upper Mississagi Formation and the Espanola Limestone are exposed and the unconformable relationship of the Gowganda Formation to the Espanola Limestone and Espanola Greywacke can be seen.
Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Uraniferous oligomictic conglomerate of the Matinenda Formation. Two beds of ore grade conglomerate, each about 10 feet thick are separated by a quartzite bed 5 to 22 feet thick. These beds strike east and dip 8 to 10 N.

Notes: Two beds of ore-grade conglomerate, each about 10 feet thick, are seperated by a quartzite bed 5 to 22 feet thick. These beds strike east-west and dip 8 degrees to 10 degrees north. The conglomerate beds are correlated with the Nordic and basal reefs which are the principal ore beds at the other mines on the Nordic channel. There is also evidence of a third reef higher in the sequence belived to be correlatable with the Pardee reef.
