Access Description: Highway 555 north from Blind River to the northeast corner of Lake of the Mountains (Lake Duborne). Follow cottage road and old trail north past Black Lake to Emerald Lake. Within 0.5km of Emerald Lake, take right drainage/creek valley up to its head waters.

Lithology Comments

Mar 30, 2012 (A Wilson) - Four vein systems were mapped and only two were sampled. These two veins are 500 feet apart, in Mississagi sediments. The north showing consists of parallel quartz - chalcopyrite veins striking NW, that have been traced for a length of 1000 feet. They range in width from a few inches to 3 feet. The south showing consists of a 4 foot quartz - chalcopyrite vein, striking west which has been traced for a length of 25 feet.

Mineralization Comments

Mar 30, 2012 (A Wilson) - Two, 150 pound bulk samples collected by Accra Explorations from quartz veins returned values of 0.04% Cu and nil Au, and 0.10% Cu and nil Au.
