Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Uranium mineralization is located in quartz-pebble conglomerate and arkose of the Matinenda Formation. The Matinenda Formation is intruded by a Nipissing diabase sill and the outcrop is repeated by a thrust fault on the hanging wall of the sill. The conglomerate is restricted to an old stream channel. Drilling delineated a very low grade, narrow conglomerate zone, which averages 4.5 feet in thickness with a strike length of about 1300 feet and has an average grade of 0.05 % U3O8. (OGS 1983 MDC 25 P 21).
