Access Description: Starting At Massey on Hwy 17, take Rte 553 north approximately 21km; Turn west on Old Access Road; drive 2.5km; Trench located approximately 62m south through the bush.
1969: S.D. Withers completed percussion drilling on an E-W trending quartz vein with pyrite and chalcopyrite at a GB/GR contact. 1994: Quartec Mineral Development Inc. completed overburden stripping, pit digging, prospecting, diamond drilling, assaying and analyses.

Jan 28, 2022 (Sheree Hinz) - The area lies north of the Murray fault and is underlain by Archean granite, Keewatin greenstone and Huronian sediments. The area hosts several mafic intrusions which were emplaced into Archean plutonic rocks and mafic to felsic metavolcanics.

Jan 28, 2022 (Sheree Hinz) - Quartec Mineral Development Inc. investigated the area in 1994 searching for high-purity quartz. The final results indicated that although satisfactory in low titanium content, high iron and aluminum metals made the occurrence unfavourable.
