Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Remnants of magnetite quartz Algoma Type iron formation in metavolcanics intruded by Archean granitic rocks. Dominantly N-striking zones up to 100 feet wide and 2000 feet long. 3 channel samples averaged 31.7% Fe, 47.9% SiO2; 3 grab samples ranged from 33.43% soluble Fe, 5.29% insoluble Fe, 36.83% SiO2 to 41.32% soluble Fe, 2.50% insoluble Fe and 37.0% SiO2. (ODM 1968 MRC 11 P 95).
