Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Uranium mineralization occurs in ferruginous feldspathic conglomerate bed of the Lorrain Formation. The bed is 5 feet wide and extends for 1100 feet. Geiger counter readings showing radioactivity five times background along this bed. (OGS 1983 MDC 25 P 55-56).
