Geology Comments

Jul 09, 2010 (S Butorac) - Completely underlain by sedimentary rocks of the Lorraine Formation. Comprised of different members of quartzites. the most consistently anomalous member is the RH member. There seems to be 3 distinct radioactive conglomerate beds within this RH member.

Mineralization Comments

Jul 09, 2010 (S Butorac) - 35 foot thick hematized quartz pebble conglomerate bed of the Lorrain Formation. Bed strikes easterly and dips gently south, exposed for approximately 1000 feet. Trenches revealed 3 quartz pebble conglomerate beds over a width of 35 feet, the bottom 3 or 4 feet are the most radioactive. Uranium and thorium mineralization occurs within the mineral monazite. Possible uranninite and brannerite. Within the 3 units of the RH member of the Lorraine Formation in the old trenches indicates average unranium content of 0.39 lb, approx 200 ppm over 100 metres. And average thorium of 1.85 lbs, approx 700ppm. (based on 15 samples). One grab, a sample within sample #9 gave 400 ppm U3O8 and 94000 ppm Th. (this sample consisted of mostly specularite). Diamond Drill hole assays up to 0.024% or 240 ppm U3O8
