Mineralization Comments

Apr 29, 2013 (A Wilson) - Cobaltite and native bismuth were observed in the vein around 1913. A sample collected in 1913 from the Kerr claim by A.G. Burrows (ODM) assayed 0.03 oz/t Au, 15.9 oz/t Ag, 59.5% Bi, and trace cobalt. A 3.7 ton bulk sample collected in 1912 assayed 14.7% Co, 9.2% Ni, 9 oz/t Ag. Grab samples collected by A. Barry from the veins returned Bi values up to 2340 ppm, Cu values >5000ppm, Ni values up to 221 ppm and Au values up to 0.16 oz/t. Samples collected by R. and A. Barry from a series of veins on their claims, consistently returned Cu values ranging from 0.245% to 22.58% (no accurate locations are available to plot the veins). A 166 lb bulk sample collected by Baxter Minerals (circa 1980) assayed 0.15% Cu and 0.01% Bi.
