Lithology Comments

Apr 26, 2013 (A Wilson) - Granitic rocks are overlain by patches of Gowganda conglomerate. Several parallel quartz veins occur over a width of 50 ft and have been traced for 610 ft. The main vein is 1.2 to 6 m wide. Veins form stockworks in brecciated greenstone.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 26, 2013 (A Wilson) - Veins form stockworks in brecciated greenstone. A small percentage of chalcopyrite occurs in nodules surrounded by considerable amounts of specularite. Mineralization was considered to be poor. Abundant east-striking anastomosing white quartz veins contain chalcopyrite, bornite, carbonate and abundant specullarite. At the adit, a 4 foot wide vertical sheared quartz vein strikes N80E and contains local high-grade concentrations of chalcopyrite.
