Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Diabase 1 Diabase Granophyric Contains
Vein 2 Quartz-Carbonate Host
Granite 3 Adjacent

Lithology Comments

Apr 29, 2013 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of felsic intrusives (granite) and sheared mafic rocks which have been interpreted as diabase dikes. Quartz-carbonate stringers and veins are found within the mafic unit. The mineralized zone has an easterly strike.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 29, 2013 (A Wilson) - Disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite are found within narrow quartz-carbonate stringers. Assays from the Fano Exploration drilling include 1.71% Cu over 2 ft in DDH - 4 and 3.51% Cu over 5 feet in DDH - 1. All other assays were less than 0.40% Cu over widths ranging from 3.0 to 5.0 feet. Anomalous copper values were intersected in two drill holes approximately 400 ft apart. The zone has been traced by drilling for approximately 1000 m
