Dec 05, 2013 (A Pace) - Highly metamorphosed sedimentary rocks consisting of arkose, quartzite, and argillite. The arkosic beds have been highly granitized while the argillite beds have benn well chloritized. The quartzite beds have remained relatively unaltered. Sills and dykes of younger gabbro intrude the ground as horizontal displacements of anomalies of up to 1000 feet have been found. In some areas the quartzite has been fractured and partly replaced by sulphides.

Dec 05, 2013 (A Pace) - Disseminated to massive sulphides occur in fractures and vienlets in east-west trending shear zones. The sulphides are pyrite, pyrrhotite, with chalcopyrite, sphalerite and molybdenite present in varyng amounts. In 1955, grab samples of 3.56% Cu were obtained by trenching. IN 1961: 1.84% Mo over 2 feet, 0.26% Cu over 12.7 feet, 1.06% Cu over 2.7 feet and 1.09% Zn over 16 feet were obtained from diamond drilling.
