Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - In the NW portion of Rollins Township there is an exposure of alkalic syenite carbonatite and related rocks of the Middle and Late Precambrian Age. A few diabase dikes of Keweenawan age are also present. Two samples contained microscopic grains of sulphide minerals and showed 0.103 % U3O8. (OGS 1983 MDC 25 P 66).
