1907: Shaft, said to be 45 feet deep, by Hillman Mines Ltd. 1955-56: 1147 feet of d.d. in 3 holes by Detta Minerals Ltd. 1961: 125 feet of d.d. in 1 hole by H. Johnson.

Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Quartz chalcopyrite vein occurs in a fault zone in granite which strikes E. The dip appears to be vertical. At the shaft site the vein - fault zone is 15 feet wide. The chalcopyrite content of the vein is apparently low and erratic. The vein was intersected in 2 drill holes about 600 feet apart along strike, but only a few specks of chalcopyrite are reported in the logs. No samples were taken for assay. A chip sample collected at the shaft assayed 1.33 % Cu and nil Au, over a width of 8 feet. (ODM 1969 MRC 12 P 16).
