Nov 23, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - The Jacobsville Formation is a red to white, medium to fine-grained sandstone of Cambrian age. Beds range in thickness from 6 mm up to 1.5 m. Crossbedding and ripple marks are common features. Thin shale and siltstone interbeds are commonly present.
