Province: Superior
Subprovince: Abitibi
Terrane: Wawa-Abitibi
Geological Age: Archean
Dec 04, 2013 (A Pace) - The rocks consists of Archean granite to granodiorite rocks with the main quartz vein carrying the mineralization cutting the granite striking N70W. The property also displays evidence of mafic metavocanic and diabase intrusions. The main quartz vein can be traced for over a mile, but there are long drift covered stretches between some of the shafts and vein material cannot be traced any distance on surface. There is little likelihood of a continuous vein from No. 1 to No. 6 shafts, and is doubtful that any two shafts are on the same vein. Widths of vein material vary from a few feet up to 45 feet.
