Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - A mafic dike, about 100 feet wide, intrudes granitic rocks. Chalcopyrite, pyrite and an unidentified nickeliferous mineral occur as irregular stringers in fractures within the mafic dike. Grab samples from pits assayed 0.07 to 0.99% Ni; only reported copper assay was 6.96% Cu. Best assay from drill core was 0.52% Ni over 2.0 feet (File SSM-685).
