Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Quartz carbonate veins in diabase and granite contain copper uranium mineralization. The zone evidently strikes N80W and dips steeply N to 90. The zone was tested by drilling over a strike length of 2000 feet. The mineralized portion is about 460 feet long; total core widths range from 1 to 30 feet. Assay results from core samples ranged from trace to 1.52% Cu over widths ranging from 1.5 to 10 feet; most assay results were less than 1% Cu (File SSM-27). Slight radioactivity in drill core, but assays fro uranium returned nil to trace U3O8. (ODM 1969 MRC 12 P 69).
