Lithology Comments

Mar 12, 2013 (A Pace) - The property within the Quintet Lakes is part of the metavolcanic suite associated with the development of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. The rocks in the area have been mapped as metagreywackes and meta-argillites intruded by narrow diabase dikes.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 23, 2010 (A Pace) - Specimens from this area show chalcopyrite in association with quartz and calcite. Specimens recognized were brecciated rhyolite carrying quartz and pyrite, greywacke, amphibolite, arkose, mica schist and numerous specimens showing vein quartz, calcite, pyrite and some chalcopyrite.
