Exploration History

In 1962-63, 2950.5 feet of diamond drilling in 11 holes was completed by Joubin F.R., MacIntosh, J.A., Lien, H.O. Three of the eleven diamond drill holes were drilled in the vicinity of McCollough Lake area. These include holes 6,7,8. (Assessment file location Olsen-0013). Between the periods of 1991 to 1993 work including linecutting, scintillometer, mag, VLF, prospecting, assaying by Goodmurphy, E., Murphy, I. (Assessment file location SSMP-Olsen-13, SSMPP-Olsen-29, SSMP-Olsen-27, SSMP-Olsen-29, SSMP-Olsen-32, SSMP-Olsen-34, SSMP-Olsen-18, SSMP-Olsen-22). In 1988 a geological soil, VLF and Mag report was put together by Ontex Resources ltd., (Assessment file location SSMP-Olsen-07) In 1986 a multi-report including geology, Geochem and sampling was condcuted in the McCollough/Mckinnon Lakes Area. Mineralization Comments

Jun 25, 2010 (A Pace) - Three diamond drill holes drilled in the vicinity of McCollough Lake area by Joubin F.R., MacIntosh, J.A., Lien, H.O. Drill holes 6 and 7 had intersected greywackes and intermediate volcanics and what has been described as a lamprophyre dyke. Schistosity has been documented in sections of logged core. Pyrite, pyrrhotite, minor chalcopyrite and graphite have been the dominant sulphides identified. Drill hole 8 had intersected a graphitic schist that was pyrrhotite rich. A 2.6 foot sample was assayed at 0.09% copper. Located further down the hole a schistosity unit described as being pyrrhotite rich, siliceous and with minor chalcopyrite. A 1 foot sample was assayed at 0.10% copper and a 5.5 foot sample assayed at 0.10% copper.
