Mining operations by Quebec and Lake Superior Mining Association. 1949-54: geol and geiger counter survey. 1955-56: 17,564.8 feet of d.d. in 52 holes, surface samples, EM survey, by Maricona Minerals Ltd. 1962-64: 981 feet of d.d. in 9 holes by D. L. McKinnon. 1972-75: mag and geochem surveys, dd.

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Chalcocite, cp, bornite, and native copper in fissure filling vein breccias in basalt. The ore zone measured 1,098' x 8.1' x 345' deep. The average grade was 1.17% Cu. (ODM 1969 MRC 12 P 58).
