Access Description: Located in the north western portion of Palmer township approximately 800 feet south of Gimby Lake.



Exploration History

In 1966 2 diamond drill holes totalling 1297 feet was completed by Phelps-Dodge Corp in Canada Ltd. In 1996 1 diamond drill hole totalling 850 feet was drilled by Aurogin Resources Ltd. In 1997 drilling by Aurogin Resources on the Cedar Lake grid included 3 diamond drill holes totalling 593m.

Nov 25, 2010 (A Pace) - The occurrence is hosted primarily within the mafic volcanics of the Batchawana Greenstone Belt. the area has been described as a silicified zone that appears to strike east and dip north.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 25, 2010 (A Pace) - The zone is reflected in an IP anomaly with mineralization consisting of sparse chalcopyrite occurring with pyrite and pyrrhotite in a silicified zone in Archean mafic metavolcanics. Drilling by Aurogin Resources in 1997 over the Cedar Lake grid intersected the following results: AR97-18: 2m at 0.4% Cu, 2m at 0.31% Cu, 2m at 0.24% Cu AR97-19: 1.3m at 0.45% Cu, 1.5m at 0.18% Cu AR97-20: 0.4m at 0.17% Cu, 2m at 0.19% Cu
