Dec 07, 2005 (P Beach) - Radioactivity associated with granite - gneiss complex. Two samples from claim SSM169442 taken by E.O Tooker assayed 0.024 and 0.75 % U3O8 (radiometric equivalent) (OGS 1983 MDC 25 P 62).

Notes: A shear zone from two to five feet wide striking N45W which crosses, almost normally, a diabase dike striking N60E. Dips for the shear and the dike are about vertical. Since the dike is about 60 feet wide, the shear may be limited in length to the width of the dyke. The shear filling consists of much hematite, some hematite-calcit breccia and sparse pyrite. Small pea-sized grains of pitchblende have been removed from the property.
