Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The property is underlain by olivine gabbro, olivine, norite, gabbro, norite and pyroxene diorite of the Gamitagama Lake Complex, but biotite-hornblende diorite, tonalite, syenodiorite, trondhjemite, granodiorite and monzonite of the complex, and hornfelsed mafic metavolcanic and metasedimentary country rocks are also present. The Old Woman Lake fault is near the southern boundary of the property.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Pyroxene gabbro and diorite are medium-grained equigranular and massive and the texture is relatively uniform throughout the unit. Mafic metavolcanic inclusions form 5-10% of the unit. Mafic inclusions have sharp to gradational contacts with intrusive rocks. This unit is commonly in sharp contct with gneissic hornblende hornfels mafic metavolcanics, but locally a zone of intrusion breccia occurs at the contact. Monzonite and syenite dikes occur in the outer part of the hybrid and contaminated zones and in the mafic metavolcanics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The sparsely mineralized zones are discontinuous, pinch and swell and are parallel to the contact with the hybrid and contaminated unit. THe highly mineralfized zone occurs where the hybrid and contaminated unit is narrowist. This zone has an average content of 0.9% Ni and 0.6% Cu , but 10-15 foot wide high grade sections contain 1 - 2 % Ni and 0.5-1.5% Cu. The mineralized zones are gradational with pyroxene gabbro and diorite which contain minor amounts of sulphide minerals but are in relatively sharp contact with the hybrid and contaminated unit in which sulphide minerals are rare.
