Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values are recorded from a quartz vein stockwork within a semi-conformable quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusion. The porpphry extends to the southeast as a low-lying sill to dike-like body. The porphyry occurs at the contact between mafic metavolcanic rocks and metasedments. The veins occur closer to the metavolcanic side of the contact and the porphyry appears to widen at this point.
