Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The gold-bearing quartz veins of the Centennial Mine occur as fissure fillings in the Centennial Stock. The granodiorite locally encloses pendants of chloritic mafic metavolcanics, one of which occurs on the hanging wall of the main vein. Lamprophyre dikes and quartz-carbonate veins intrude the ore-bearing veins. There are nine parallel veins on the property most of which have been prospected with a shaft or adit.
