Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The property is underlain by the Jubilee Tuffs which are andesitc to dacitic in composition and likely occur between intermediate to mafic and intermediate-felsic rocks of the 2750 MA volcanic cycle. These rocks are of local distribution and are laregly absent elsewhere in the greenstone belt.

Lithology Comments

Jan 29, 2021 (A Wilson) - The quartz vein is hosted by andesitic to dacitic metavolcanics. These rocks consist of tuffs and breccias which are cut by grey diorite dikes associated with the Jubilee Stock. Lamprophyre dikes are also found in the vicinity of the shaft. A quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusion lies to the east of the shaft.
