Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The property consists of a complex series of quartz veins hosted by the Jubilee Tuffs. The Jubilee tuffs are a distinctive package of dacitic to andesitic rocks that are locally developed around the Jubilee Stock. These rocks likely occure between intermeddiate-mafic and intermediate-felsic metavolcianci rocks of the 2750 MA cycle. These rocks are largely absent elsewhere within the stratigraphic package.

Lamprophyre-Unsubdivided | 3 | Near |
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consists of a series of at least 4 major quartz veins - Wilcox, Sunrise, Mickelson and Lucky Strike. These quartz veins have variable strikes. They are hosted within intermediate tuffs and fragmentals which are in turn intruded by a series of dioritic sills and dikes that are related to the Jubilee Stock that outcrops to the west.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Visible gold has been observed as fine grained disseminations and clots up to 4 mm within the sulphide rich quartz veins. Assays from the bulk sample taken from Sunrise Vein by Parkhill Mines yielded 0.43 oz/t Au accross 2 feet and 1.11 oz/t Au over 2.7 feet. Assays from a 4 ton bulk sample taken from the Mickelson Vein in 1940 returned values of 0.64 oz/t Au over 60 feet. Grab samples from quartz veins on the property taken by Van Ollie Exploration ranged from 0.01 oz/t to 0.926 oz/t Au.
