Access Description: Drive south from highway 101 along the Surluga Road for approximately 2 km. The occurrence was in a drill hole drilled to the southeast of Jubilee Lake.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Copper-nickel mineralization was discovered in a 17 foot wide peridotite dike discovered in drill core. Samples of a dacite collected from a shoreline outcrop northeast of the Sunrise shaft by Rupert in 1975 reacted positively to demethylgloyoxine tests for nickel.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling returned combined assays of Ni and Cu of 0.65% over 12-15 feet. A four foot section of the dike contained 0.4% Ni and 0.3% Cu.
