Point Location Description: Gossan outcrop west of logging road

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The site is accessible by driving east from Highway 17 along the Scott Falls access road. Cross the power dam and follow a sequence of disused bush roads south of the power line on the south side of the Michpicoten River. Access to the site is by a series of overgrown logging roads around the south end of Mishewawa Lake and from the south side of High Falls dam.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated zinc values were obtained from a gossanous zone at the sheard contact between felsic and mafic metavolcanic rocks.
