Location Method: AMIS Site Visit
Access Description: Along High Falls Road from Highway #17 for 2.5 kilometers (0.1 kilometers past the Michipicoten Landfill site). At this point another bush road is taken for a distance of 419 meters. The site is reached by traversing by foot for another 305m. N47º east to the site along a path 56m north of power transmission line.
Pre 1927: test pitting by Stenabaugh brothers. 1962-63: Consolidated Bellekeno Mines Ltd. - mapping, ground geophysical surveys, 8 ddh (1037 ft). 1983-84: Golden Pond Resources - mapping, ground geophysical surveys. 1979: Canabec Explorations Ltd. - ground geophysical surveys. 1983: Northern Horizon Resource Corporation - airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is hosted by a quartz-carbonate vein which strikes east-west and dips vertically. The vein is at the intersection of a strong NW shear zone and an east-west trending vein. The wall rocks near the vein are felsic sericite to mafic chlorite-sericite tuffs and breccias.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected mineralized quartz-carbonate stringers. The best assay returned 0.02 oz/t Au. A prospectus for Milmac Mines Ltd. reports assays up to $118.20 gold per ton. New Campbell Island Mines Ltd. prospectus reports assays with an average value of $30.75 gold per ton over 80 feet in length and 41 inches in width.
