Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The main vein is composed of coarse, glassy quartz with approximately 2% disseminated pyrite. The muck pile contains samples of narrow sugary quartz veins which are probably a secondary set of veins. These veins range in width from approximately 5 to 25 cm in width. The surrounding intermediate metavolcanic rocks are strongly carbonatized.
