Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The rock type is mainly intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks intuded by some quartz-feldspar porphyry sills. Two major banded-magnetite iron formations cross the property and outcrop near the south end of Blackington Lake.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Fine gold can be panned from the iron formation. No assays are reported. Assays from material concentrated by Koenig et al. returned values up to 2.08 g/t Au.
