Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The metavolcanics consist of a sequence of mafic flows ranging from pillowed to massive gabbroic flows. Flow top agglomerates have been observed. The veins consist of sugary quartz with localized sulphide mineralization. The main vein stikes 120 and cross cuts the stratigraphy. Several other parallel quartz veins occur on the NW shore of Dodds Lake. Cross cutting veins are at a higher angle to the stratigraphy and consist of en-echelon veins. The largest veins have sheared walls.
