Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: Drive east from Wawa along highway 101 for approximately 2.5 km. The vein is exposed in an outcrop on the side of the highway.

1934: Wawa Goldfields Ltd. - stripping, trenching, sampling. 1989-90: Citadel Gold MInes Ltd. - sampling, mapping.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consits of two subparallel northwest trending, NE dipping quartz veins. They are hosted within massive diorite to granoidiorite of the Jubilee Lake Stock. Mineralization consists of partially recrystallize grey quartz with accessory ankerite,biotite, tourmaline, sulphides and native copper.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Gold assays for grab samples taken from this vein range from trace to 0.500 oz/t Au (check assay 0.504 oz/t Au). Average gold values for the vein are 0.02 oz/t Au.
