Access Description: The site is accessible by road from Wawa. Drive south along highway 17 from the junction of highway 101 and 17 for a distance of approximately 10 km to where a bermed bush road branches off from the highway to the west. The vein is reportedly located in iron formation on the east shore of Bridget Lake.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as a sugary quartz vein. The hanging wall of the vein is composed of gabbro related to the Bridget Lake stock. The footwall is composed of sulphide-facies iron formation.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by Sylvanite Gold Mines Ltd. in 1938 returned an assay of 619.8 oz/t Au.
