Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Uranium minerals occur in a large outcrop of pegmatitic granite and syenite comprised of medium to coarsely crystalline red feldspars with some white feldspar and quartz. The occurrence is located in a cliff face on the east side of the river. Secondary yellow uranium oxides are found along tiny ractures close to the main pitchblende-bearing fractures.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Mineralization occurs in chlorite filled fractures and veins within the pegmatite. Grab samples ranged up to 0.500 % U3O8.
